A Surprise Encounter

She really did not know him very well and thought it only fair to warn her that when someone says he won’t do something, he normally does. ”I won’t call them over? I will let you in on a small secret, when someone tells me I will not do something I tend to go ahead and do it.” He grins at her. ”I must tell you, if you get kicked out or leave, I am following behind you. To many people here that I do not like. I guess you could say I am only here still because I ran into you....oh and the free alcohol”

He motions to the bartender, hands him a flask, and whispers something in his ear before looking back to Aasha and grinning. A few moments the bartender returns with two glasses filled with a dark grey liquid. He hands one to Aasha and keeps the other for himself. Without saying a word he raises the glass to his lips and drinks it in one swallow.

”Drink it fast and don’t smell it.” He grins once again as he waits to see the expression on her face.

Without harming the tiny creature he pulls it from his chest as Aasha begins to drink the liquid. Once she finishes he takes the kitten and with a grin he pulls the chest of Aashas dress out and drops it down inside. ”If a guard was to look over here, they would think you have a weapon stashed in your cleavage, perhaps I should call them over to check?” He is now laughing uncontrollably from the mixture of his drink and the humor of his little prank.

He calms himself for a moment to explain the drink as best he can. ”I am not trying to kill you, but if you must know…There are wild mushrooms that I grew on my vegetable patch, rum, and a small amount of whiskey in that glass. The mushrooms are what you will feel in a few minutes. Just wait until you start seeing the swirling colors and distorted faces. That is how you will know it is working.” He looks back at the bulge in the front of her dress and starts laughing again while wondering if the cat is digging its nails into the fleshy part of her own chest like it did his.

Apparently he must have been preoccupied with another young lady. Timari looked him over with stern eyes, that same odd quirky expression. Did he truly understand the plan? Without much more thought, she smiled and headed for the stage as Horace trailed behind.

"Don't sweat it. It's sweet wool for a sweet performance."

Timari grinned and reached her hand out on top of the baldy man. After rubbing it for good luck, she put the wooly hat on Horace's shining head.



"When you're ready, cue the musicians."

Donnor wrote:He laughed in amusement as he stood to follow her over to where they assumed Kerri and Harlan had been sitting. ”Would you like for me to carry you incase you fall, little booger?” He asked while following closely behind Aasha so he could grab her in case she tripped on the fabric of the oversized dress. ”To answer your previous question…No I was not trying to see down your dress, you have to admit it was rather funny, or at least to me it was.” As they walked, a woman came out and began to sing a song, followed by a man dressed as a lamb. A wicked grin played across his face as they grew closer to them.

He handed him one of the flasks he kept stored in his jacket with a laugh. ”Here you go lamb chop, you look like you need this more than me right now.” He says before continuing after Aasha.

As he was getting ready to say something else she looked up and lost her balance and grabbed his shirt to keep herself from going right to the floor. It was a good thing she was so small or else he would have ended up losing his balance as well and they both would have hit the floor. He laughed slightly at the near fall until she patted his chest.

”Hey now, you are invading my personal space…err no wait…you are in my bubble? No, no…Either way, careful with your hands little lady. .” He said with a smirk.

He had just begun turning his attention back to Horace, the lamb chop, when Kerri and Harlan walked up. In truth he had been glad to see them, hopefully it would avoid anymore near falls. He prepares to greet them when Aasha starts to bow before them. He reached out and grabbed the back of her dress as she started falling forward. ”Are you determined to fall or something? I told you, you should have let me carry you little Booger.” Turning his attention back to the newly weds, he smiled. ”Congratulations on your recent union, my apologies for not crashing the wedding but I was told not to come and actually had other things that I needed to tend to as well.”

He was just about to pull her to her feet when her foot swung out and connected with his shin. Instantly a pain shot up his leg, causing him to release her while she was still in the air. ”You know, for such a little girl, that is one hell of a kick you have that. By the way, is the floor hard?” He asks while looking down at her, hoping she didn’t smash Pea. He reaches his hand out to offer her to pull her back on her feet while he tries to ignore the pain in his leg. ”And for the record, you was not even walking…little booger.”

Harlan wrote:As they waited for Timari's response, Donnor and Aasha approached. Donnor's loud greeting and congratulations got his attention, but it was the stumbling and crazy look in their eyes that really made him wonder what was up with these two. Wondering what could possibly happen that had not already, Harlan turned in time to see Donnor and Aasha doing something...what was that? A strange new dance? It was quite exquisite with a lift move showcasing Donnor's strength, and some flailing by Aasha to show off her....grace? All the time he had known these two and he had never known what a great combination they would be.

It all ended quickly, with Aasha crashing to their feet, he looked at Kerri, to Donnor and then down to Aasha who was now holding a kitten? "Are you okay Ash? Here, let me help you up." He offered his free hand, taking the kitten from her at the same time and holding it against his chest.

Walking over to Timari and Horace, she laughed as Harlan imitated the noise of a lamb. "I see you have another man transfixed by your beauty and charisma, Timari.. either that, or you came to Horace with a pocket full of gold to make him wear such a contraption!"


Her eyes nearly bulged when she saw Aasha and Donnor come towards them. She saw the little chit nearly topple as she tried to curtsy before her. "Aash..." she called out as Donnor grabbed her by the back of her dress and tried to prevent her from falling over.

She grimaced as Aasha's shoulder hit the floor and started to reach down to help her when the kitten was thrust towards her. Watching as Harlan took the kitten, she looked curiously at Aasha. "Why did you bring your kitten, sweetie? You don't mean to give her to us, do you?"

Timari felt violated. Pinched at her sides, she jumped with a jolt like a sheepy in danger. She turned her head to face the culprit. The villain was clad in deceptive attire, ever so ravishing with a handsome man at her side to complement. Timari put both hands to her cheeks and gasped in faked shock...

"Oh jah..!!!! It's you... It's been so---"

Timari frowned and bit her lip.

"Umm... sorry... who are you again?.... I only sang for my ol' SAS buddy, but she is clad like a military warrior, breaking drink bottles and the like. But you, I cannst be acquainted with one so gorgeously dressed."

She grinned and told her there were many Ireland tales to be told and that she hoped to see her for a talk after she delivered the wedding presents. Once the presents were done, the main bulk of the bridesmaid duties were over and Timari could then truly relax.

Harlan wrote:"That was just wonderful Timari, do you know anything longer that we could dance too? And maybe a little less.....sheepish?" Harlan grinned at Kerri, knowing she wa surely ready for another dance by now.

Before she could answer, a lady approached bearing gifts.. the pink ornament Timari admired much. Then there was the best woman again. The woman was a magnet for trouble... she looked a mess, inebriated and unstable. Careful not to enter into another brawl before her next performance, she simply looked at the man that tagged to her and threatened...

"Mister... outside this celebration, I shall have your head if you don't kiss the lady in all passions and make her better!"
