[RP] Wedding Reception of Lynna and Arthur

Oswald finished preparations and was giving out orders to the servants to make sure everything was in control. He had been told by Arthur that things had to be perfect. Arthur had made sure that there were plenty of drinks, and food.

This was going to be a small reception for his and Lynna's guests. A formal sit-down dinner. There were tables in the grand hall set up for all the guests. Tables were restricted to eight at a table. The very prominent blue and purple flowers that had been at the church were in the grand hall as well.

There was a long table ready for the wedding party and Deacon as well. There was bread baskets and beverages already set on the tables for the guests. Arthur would definitely be hungry when he came, and he thought the guests would be as well!

As the finishing touchs were down to the accoutrements of their station and offices, Leith announced the carriage was ready.
Arriving at the castle Gabby remembered her days before being wed, when she lived in Coventry. Taking Pieter's arm, she smiled at him and fussed over his shirt collar. They entered the castle and were shown to where the dinner was to be served.
Gabby nodded to Deacon Gawain and Captain Kenrich, giving the Princess Brianna a small curtsy. Quietly they found where they were to be seated and Gabby being inquisitive leaned over to see if she could read whom the hosts had sat them with. Arthur was known by her to have an odd sense of humour at times.

As the carriage slowed, he began to stir. His comment to the driver had her rolling her eyes. Before taking his arm, she leaned up on tiptoes and pulled him down, brushing her lips against his softly. I'm hopin' by the end of the evenin' yer not thinkin' of hurtin' nobody. Linking her arm through his, her eyes twinkling merrily, she winked and inclined her head. Here I was worried 'bout trouble findin' me...an' I'm bringin' it wit'. Lead on Sir Bratley.

Finding a seat at one of the tables they sat down That was a wonderful ceremony, don't you think Lizzy. Arthur and Lynna looked so happy, I can't wait to congratulate them He then gave Lizzy a quick kiss on the cheek and blushed slightly

Lizzy had not been the sort of person to let anyone close to her, until she'd met her half sister, Rosa, who must have had some sort of influence over her, otherwise why was she here.. celebrating a wedding, and on an actual date!
She grinned when Moose blushed, he was really quite shy, she liked that, made a change from the usual guys she met, and was one of the reasons she'd accepted his invitation to be his date.
hmm, "There seems to be a table of drinks over there" she said pointing to where a group of people were beginning to gather. "shall we?"
As the two of them made their way to the drinks table, she slipped her hand into his, smiling to herself..

Taking a sip he looked around, a few people had arrived but he was sure there were more to come still, including the happy new husband and wife I wonder where everyone else has gotten to? he said to Lizzy Oh well if they don't show up, more beer and food for us he said with a grin on his face

Evan sees a stable boy, laying on the ground ahead of the carriage, his hands upon his face, in evident discomfort.

Evan, lifts the boy under his shoulders helping him up
My good man, what has happened?!
Shaking his head, rubbing his nose, the stable boy spoke
I am uncertain sir. One moment a large gentleman was standing next to me…and the next….I swear….I felt a tree branch or something hit me in the face….
A panicked look crossed his face as his hands darted towards his pockets…..
oh NO!...I needed that money for my fathers…….oh no……
Evan looked at the boy, reached into his pocket, took out all his pence, gave it to the boy.
Here….this should compensate and help…..now…..lets get you inside and cleaned up
The stable boy just gave Evan an embarrassed smile, followed him.

Joining his wife, grasps her hand, kissing her cheek
Love…we have an unexpected guest joining us for a few moments…
Son, this is my lovely wife Brianna Tudor, My name is Evan…….Brianna this is…ummm….
It was then Evan realized he never got the boys name; he looked at the boy briefly, questioningly, his eyes asking the boy for help…
Henry….ma’am…..pleased to meet you…. he bowed deeply
It was then, realization crossed his face, and he turned several shades of red
oh my……ummmmm…….not THE princess Tudor….oh my….
He bowed again, blushing
Evan ruffled his hair, smiling, brushing off his coat
come on…..let’s get you inside and cleaned up……

Evan smiled towards his love, kissed her on the cheek, and whispered into her ear
what is it with you and stable boys…..
